New Hope Pet Rescue is looking for foster families

  • Fostering takes time

  • Fostering takes patience

  • Fostering takes love

  • Fostering takes consistency

  • Fostering takes an emotional toll

  • Fostering takes commitment

  • FOSTERING BRINGS JOY!

We depend on our fosters to teach our pets how to live in a home as part of a family. Often shelter pets don’t know how to do stairs, doors, or even how to play. Foster homes help us evaluate our pets so we can find the very best match for their forever family.

If you would like to join the NHPR team as a foster family, please complete a foster application HERE

Meet Our Animals

  • Purdy

    Female, short-hair tabby (bob tail)

    ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED

Purdy is a shy girl who was born with a bob tail. She was mostly wild when she came and is very unsure of people still. She would never be a lap cat but still deserves a chance in a quiet home.

  • Jelly

Female, short hair calico and white

    Adoption fee: $25

Jelly is very content to sleep for most of the day. She would be a perfect low-maintenance companion. She is very shy and can get nervous very easily, but she will sniff your hand because she is curious. She needs a quiet home with no children.

  • Marie

Female, short hair dilute orange and brown tabby

    Adoption fee: $25

Marie is an exotic beauty, with unique markings. She has a reserved, but fun personality, as she’s slow to warm up, but is a very athletic cat. She loves to run on our large cat wheel, sunbathe, and birdwatch. She would do best in a home without young children, but is okay with dogs.

  • Rainie

    Female, short-hair black

    Adoption fee: $25

Rainie is very shy, but loving once she opens up to you. She came with 4 kittens from a farm. She needs a quiet home, and she will adapt with time and love. Don't overlook the quiet ones. Rainy deserves a chance at a good home.

  • Rinker

Male, short hair black and white tuxedo

    Adoption fee: $25

Rinker is a perfect companion for someone who wants a quiet, mellow cat. Once Rinker warms up he loves to cuddle. He came to the rescue in 2016 (from Rinker Boat Co) and it will take him a little while to trust. He is a handsome black and white gentleman looking for his forever home.

  • Stanley

    Male, short-hair dark orange tabby

    Adoption fee: $25

Stan "the man" is still a little skittish, but he has come a long way since he entered the rescue with his brother Charlie. He would be a wonderful cat with a little bit of patience and love.

  • Trix

    Female, short-hair tabby

    Adoption fee: $25

Trix is a curious, playful and energetic and loving cat. She does get easily annoyed by the other cats at the rescue. She does well with other cats, but the rescue has way to many for her liking. She is super sweet and lovable, but there is a catch... she would do best if she were the only cat unless she had a lot of space to roam. She was once pregnant with two kittens, but lost them. She cannot wait to meet her new family since she wasn't able to have one of her own.
