If so, we can schedule a surrender appointment.If able, we ask that you make a donation at the time of surrendering your pet to help cover the cost of their care. At your surrender appointment, please provide us with any information about your pet that will help us care for them and pair them with an adopter. Details about their diet, habits, and personality all help.Only the legal owner of the pet can surrender the pet unless a power of attorney is provided. Surrendering a stray. If so, we can schedule a surrender appointment.If we are at maximum capacity and unable to take in the stray, we may be able to provide you with resources to care for the stray (such as food, bowls, bedding, etc.) while we attempt to locate an owner. At your surrender appointment, please provide us with details on where you found the stray, their behavior, and any apparent health concerns.If able, we ask that you make a donation at the time of surrendering the stray to help cover the cost of their care. If you’ve found very young puppies or kittens (less than 8 weeks old), we may need to wait until foster care is available to take them in.
